Broadway Gardens 21st Annual Arts n Craft Show 2008

The Rules:

To participate in this show:

  1. Your craft must be your own. This means no resale of other crafter’s wares, no bazaar or flea market items, and no factory produced or kit assembled items.
  2. You must submit a cheque with your applications post-dated no later than June 30th, 2008. The cost of a 10x6 space is $200 + GST = $210.00 and the cost of a 10x10 space is $250 + GST = $262.50. This rental fee includes the space for all three days and an electrical outlet which may be no more than 250 watts for a 10x6 booth and 350 watts for a 10x10 booth. We will be enforcing this stated wattage amount.
  3. Cheques will not be deposited until your application had been accepted and you have received notification by mail. Cancellation of an application after June 30th but before October 1st, will receive a 50% refund. After October 1st, no refunds will be given.
  4. Five photos of your art or craft must accompany your application. It is recommended that the photos you submit be clear and display your crafts well since it is from these that the jurors make their decisions. Please also include a picture of your display. If you have not been in a craft show before, then please set up what you would think your display would look like. If your craft does not appear to be original (that is, if we suspect it is mass produced, imported, or merely value added) you will not be accepted to the show.
  5. All crafters must have a backdrop of some kind for your craft display. This can include a simple sheet draped over a pole or a tent with a side down. Just remember that the nicer your display looks, the busier your booth will be. If you do have a tent you would like to use, please let us know on your application as there are some spaces that a tent will not fit.

Friday, Nov. 21st, 2008 10am - 8pm
Saturday, Nov. 22nd, 2008 10am - 5pm

Application Deadline: June 1st., 2008
Juror's Decisions: July 8th., 2008
Set-up Date: Wednesday, Nov. 19th., 2008
