Native to mainland China, Taiwan, southern Korea and southern Japan, Cammellia is also known as the Rose of Winter and is the official state flower of Alabama. Japanese Camellia is the most well-known genus of the camellia family and comes in many different varieties. Variations usually appear in forms of bloom colors, from double pinks, deep red singles, blush pink, white and more. These blooms appear on branches which are covered in glossy green leaves.
