Introduction to Water Gardening:
Sat., Sept. 20th, 2008, 10am - 12pm
A well-designed and installed water feature adds a very special touch to a garden. The great thing is that it’s really not hard to do! Even if you are “space challenged” there’s a water gardening option for you. This seminar takes you through the steps to a successful project. We’ll look at all the options; from container water gardens through to garden ponds and the very popular “pondless” water features. You’ll learn all the key steps needed to successfully plan and install the water feature of your dreams!
Perfect Ponds: Fall Edition
Sat., Oct. 4th, 2008 or Sat., Oct. 25th, 2008, 10am - 12pm
This seminar is focused on helping you get your pond ready for the winter ahead. What you do in the fall has a major bearing on successfully over-wintering both plants and fish. Also, a little fall maintenance of pumps & filters can do much to prolong the life of this and other pond equipment. We deal, in depth, with all of these issues and you’ll leave with a comprehensive guide to help you do it right! |

All New Christmas Workshop

Here’s how it works; Decide where you want to attend and which item you wish to create: centerpiece, urn or hanging basket (allow about one hour for each). If you want to pick several that’s fine too.
Show up any time from 10:00 to 1:00 on the above date (remember it ends at 2:00 and takes about an hour for each item). We will have plenty of staff on hand to assist you with your creation. Payment required at registration. Fees are $20.00 for the centerpiece and $35.00 for the urn and hanging basket, plus tax. This includes a variety of fresh greens, containers (but not the actual urn), oasis, assorted berries and holiday accessories (but not the candle holder). Additional items may be purchased separately. Please bring your own pruners and gloves. |
