For online stores, when an order is “fulfilled” (it’s shipped out, or picked up), they’re meant to be marked as “complete” as close to when the order was finished as possible, at which point an email is sent off confirming that the orders were complete. Problem is, something prevented our system from being able to mark those orders as complete, causing us to end up with thousands of open and (according to the system) unfinished orders!
To try and clear things up, we started to mass-mark orders as “complete”, which in turn caused emails to go out, which caused quite a bit of confusion.
If you’ve received one of these emails and already received your order, please don’t worry! You were not charged again, nor were you charged for anything else.
On the other hand, if you’ve received one of those emails, but you hadn’t received your order, or part of your order, please let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks very much for your understanding!
